Movie Blocks reviewed on AppSlappy podcast!

AppSlappyEric and Scott from the AppSlappy podcast reviewed Movie Blocks and though they thought the graphics weren’t that wonderful, Eric thought it was cool little game: “… a great game if you’re into movies and movie trivia… I definitely would recommend it”. Listen to the podcast here.

Movie Blocks 1.11 now available

The new version of Movie Blocks 1.1 with a small bug fix has been accepted by Apple and is now available on the iTunes store.

Movie Blocks 1.11 has been submitted

Following the recent 1.1 update, I discovered a bug that meant the difficulty level chosen wasn’t always reflected when starting a new game. This has been fixed and will be available to upgrade as soon as Apple approves it.

Some improvements to my free app (submitted to Apple, awaiting approval):

  • Now nearly 50,000 possible movie name combinations, double the previous amount
  • Improved graphics and more DVD backgrounds
  • Addition of alternate style movie review tags on the bottom of the DVD.

Review – TVGuide.co.uk

tvguideHaving tried several UK TV guides in the hope I can find something better than the awful grid system on the Sky+ box, I am most impressed by the TVGuide.co.uk app. TiotiTV has been my favourite up to now, but this one has finally come up with a decent way to display upcoming things on TV in a clear way.

Simply lists your channels, and show you three programmes for each channel; what’s on right now, plus the two following programmes. It gives you more details as well, but most of the time I just want this quick overview to scan down.

Good job.
